This is my cover of the main theme from The Dark Crystal: Age Of Resistance. From the 2019 Netflix series, original music by Daniel Pemberton.

Age Of Resistance quickly became on of my favorite shows of all time. It was made with such care and attention to detail, and did what most prequel stories fail at - expanding on the original in meaningful ways while also retaining the same feel, tone and quality.

I've always wanted to do some metal covers of my favorite soundtrack themes and try to translate all of the layers onto guitar. It's challenging, I feel like you'll never be able to totally recreate all of the nuances and dynamics of an orchestra, but it can be really fun to tackle and the final result can be a unique take on some epic pieces of music. I'll be continuing with more tracks from the Age Of Resistance Soundtrack, and hopefully other movie themes I enjoy in the future.
