Why did Nova Fight with the Wolverine?

With Deadpool & Wolverine's ending confirming Logan's survival on Earth-10005, the burning question now is whether Hugh Jackman will return once more as the character. Various meta jokes are made throughout Deadpool & Wolverine, specifically a recurring gag that Jackman will be playing Wolverine until he is 90 years old. Although this is a way for the film to poke fun at superhero casting in general, it comes after a serious moment in which B-15 states Wolverine and Deadpool could be useful thanks to their timeline-saving antics, hinting that Jackman will return in the MCU's future. Aside from the fates of the main characters, Deadpool & Wolverine's ending raises questions about how the film will tie into the future of the MCU. Many expected Deadpool & Wolverine to feed into Avengers 5 and Avengers: Secret Wars, a reality that now seems possible. Not only have Deadpool and Wolverine been recognized as potential allies by the TVA, but they have solidified their partnership and returned to Deadpool's universe. Interestingly, this means that the Fox X-Men universe lives on. It was expected that Deadpool & Wolverine's ending would see one, or both, of the characters permanently switch to the MCU, but this was not the case. Instead, the X-Men timeline remains intact, meaning the two titular heroes can return in the future. Not only that, but any character from the Fox X-Men franchise could play a part in future MCU movies, leading to many possibilities for Avengers 5 & 6. As of Deadpool & Wolverine's ending, the multiverse has never had so many intriguing connections, promising a big future for Marvel's Multiverse Saga.
