PATTERN OVERVIEW

Sample Bracelet Measurement: 8in|20.32cm in circumference which fits hands that measure 8 – 9in|20.32 – 22.86cm in circumference at the widest point.

SUPPLIES

YARN: Knit Picks Curio #10, 2-ply crochet thread, (#0, Lace Weight), [100% Mercerized Cotton; 721yds|366m per 100g|3.5oz ball], in color of choice, 1 ball.

ALTERNATIVE YARN: Aunt Lydia's #10, 3-ply crochet thread, (#0, Lace Weight), [100% Mercerized Cotton; 350yds|320m per 100g|3.5oz ball], in color of choice, 1 ball.

HOOK: US-6, 1.0mm

BEADS: Miyuki, size 6/0 Rocaille seed beads in color(s) of choice, ~30 – 40g|1.05 – 1.41oz of beads.

ADDITIONAL TOOLS & NOTIONS:

– Wooden dowel, .25in|0.63cm diameter, 10 – 12in | 25.4 – 30.48cm length.
DO NOT substitute a straw in place of the wooden dowel. Straws are not sturdy enough and often collapse under the work which can cause the tube that forms your bangle to be deformed and uneven.

– Tape measure
– Tapestry needle size 18 or 20
– Small sharp scissors

OPTIONAL:

– Small piece of sticky (Scotch) tape to attach to the tape measure if you are measuring your own hand.

– BeadOnIt beading board purchased from Potomac Beads
