Yami Bakura - Zombies / Obelisk deck for LOTD:LE (TheBoomerProject)

Yami Bakura is one of the most evil characters in Yugioh. Even when Yugi Muto was able to send him to The Shadow Realm, he came back many times.

In the anime his decks were based on fiend monsters, but I believe he is close to zombie type too. That's the explanation I can give, for returning back to life that many times with the help of Millennium Ring.
Zorc Necrophades, the boss monster of Bandit King Bakura looks alike Obelisk to it's appearance and Bakura could easily be one of the owners of an Egyptian God. Seto Kaiba on the other hand was an antagonist character, so... the mangaka gave him 1/3 Egyptian Gods to him for that reason.

That's my theory why Yami Bakura had to be the owner of Obelisk or why it matches that much to his playstyle and deck.

The deck is based on Zombie World + DoomKing + SuperPolymerization mostly, to disrupt opponent's plays as much as possible.

While Obelisk has many weaknesses and that's a reason that none plays him, this deck can really enable him.

The first trick is that you don't need to tribute summoning him. You can just discard him to the grave and revive him.

After that, the second trick is that you can negate it's effect to hold it on the field, instead of returning him to the grave after the end of the turn.

Decks like Odion's with Necrovalley, is a big problem and you have to find ways of playing around it.

In my opinion zombie decks are good for someone whose trying to become better at combo-ing, but this specific one doesn't have many synchro monsters for such complexity. Still, it's challenging and fun to summon an Egyptian God card without true supportive cards.

You can always use "The True Name" and "Plaguespreader Zombie" to summon Obelisk directly from the deck, but you don't really need it and you might brick with these cards.
This is my second and best approach of this deck, so I hope you like it.
