EAA - A Blue Snowball, Aladin, Clusters and Galaxies.

Описание к видео EAA - A Blue Snowball, Aladin, Clusters and Galaxies.

Hi,
Welcome to another observing session of Electronically Assisted Astronomy with an 8-inch SCT.

The weather outside is frightful, the wind is gusting and any normal visual or Astro photographer would most probably be tucked up, nice and warm inside. However, this EA Astronomer thought it would be a good idea to go throw the telescope outside and attempt an observation session!

Tonight, we are going to start from the beginning and align and focus the scope before moving onto our targets (which I will make up along the way).
As the wind is going to cause all sorts of nasty vibrations, we are only going to use 4 seconds subs. Exactly what EAA was made for!

We are also going to look at Aladin, Cartes du Ciel and the astronomy communication protocol SAMP.

Please use the chapter markers to skip merrily through the video to each object and discussion point.
