Macro focus stacking: How I do it and why I failed

Описание к видео Macro focus stacking: How I do it and why I failed

Macro focus stacking using Photoshop is a great way to get sharp images that still maintain a shallow depth of field on the background. They can be easy to do once you get the technique right, but today's video shows how you can go wrong.

I had my composition set up and my camera locked down on my tripod, but I still managed to mess up taking the images I needed to blend, which meant my final image after I'd merged the shots in Photoshop didn't look great.

But I think this mistake makes for just as good a lesson on where things can go wrong and I hope you can learn from my bad form to take better shots of your own.
