While our twin babies were cared for in the NICU, we were balancing hospital life with parenting a very energetic preschooler — complete with toys everywhere and constant snack negotiations. It’s a glimpse into life with children in two places at once, the ups and downs of premature baby care, and the quiet strength it takes to keep going. But after weeks in hospital, we finally got to bring our twin daughters—Augusta and Theodora—home.
