Dathea Raid Guide - Normal/Heroic Dathea, Ascended Vault of the Incarnates Boss Guide

Dathea, Ascended Normal and Dathea Heroic guide! Dathea is a raid boss in the Vault of the Incarnates raid of Dragonflight. This boss guide for Dathea, Ascended will walk you through the important healer, tank and DPS raid mechanics you need to clear this Vault of the Incarnates raid boss. Dathea also appears earlier in the raid as part of the Primal Council fight, and you'll recognize at least one of her abilities.

Dathea is heavily wind-themed, and the various knockbacks make the Dathea boss encounter especially dangerous. Zephyr Slam will knock her tank back, and the knockback increases with stacks. Position carefully.

Spread with Conductive Mark, avoid Raging Winds whirlwinds, watch out for their rapid movement from Crosswinds and fight the Cyclone pull towards the center.

At 100 energy, Dathea will summon a Volatile Infuser add. Interrupt when it channels Diverted Essence. It's main purpose is to cast Blowback when it dies, knocking the entire raid back very far from it's location. Position the add and use that knockback to propel yourself up to the active add platform (it rotates). Kill the Infuser up there and use the second Blowback to get yourself safely back to the main floor.

Heroic Dathea gets the addition of caster adds during the platform phase, use interrupts to help round them up and rinse them down along with the Volatile Infuser.
