Inherited this farm and Lumber Mill now I find it a delaupidated ruin so I am going to get'er up and running! and then make some big bux in my "City of "Gold".

I am not repariing the chip board factory...
yet!
because I want to repair the house and farm I live in first and if you "jam" the quests together and talk to Your aunt and uncle it sometimes jars up the "flag" of finishing it! also I want to start drying planks BEFORE chapter Two, as it takes too long and I want to do the quests in One ("Guest in House') while I wait for drying time. the rest of the BLDG I am going to repair for production. then I can mill around all I want in chapter one doing odd jobs for vehilces and chow I haven't done Sasha's barn for the old forklift or "Sophie's Farm" for some herbs(or cash)And picking "Shrooms" for the foxxy witch lady(Herbalist) took lots of time that could have been spent drying wood(or watching grass grow)
*-I'd recomend repairng the Farm's Greenhouse, and the sawmill(and the whole of it two parts) and dryer. BEFORE doing most Chapter One quests EXCEPT Oliver and his Barn(for the green tractor) and "Help Izaac" quest for the log trailor. these two machines are necessary to get the river and into the Mill to have planks to dry. The forklift is needed to put them in the dryer(I am doing it after this gameplay now :D
after repairing the mill, I'd look into that black salve, might just have to find the recepe ;)
