THE GREAT RENO BALLOON RACE! A MUST SEE IN SEPTEMBER

I headed to Reno for the Great Reno Balloon Race this weekend, and boy am I glad I did. The show started before dawn with "The Dawn Patrol" consisting of 8 hot air balloons which took off in the dark, synchronizing their "glow" with each other and to music.

By 7 am, and after the National Anthem, was the "Mass ascension" of a total of 80 hot air balloons taking off in the sky at once. #greatrenoballoonrace
