I used a total of 7 bags of clothing pins to make both DIY's. Each bag contains 36 clothing pins, bringing the total to 252 pins.

American Flag

30 Blue pins
84 White pins
94 Red pins

The first four strips contain a total of 10 pins. As I double up the rows to make one strip, (5 pins at the top and 5 pins at the bottom). The rest of the strips contain 16 pins, (8 pins at the top 8 pins at the bottom. Equaling a total of 26 rows.
