Chuck E. Cheese's - Environment (April 1992)

Описание к видео Chuck E. Cheese's - Environment (April 1992)

Showtape Title: Environment '92
Release Date: April 4, 1992

This was Chuck E. Cheese's Spring 1992 show, and is themed around protecting and saving the environment. Featuring original songs like "Save Us from Extinction" and "One World" and covers like "Teddy Bear" and "Crocodile Rock". Also to fit the theme are a Geography rap about Africa, as well as a special puppet skit about recycling your cans. The third segment featuring the songs "Old MacDonald" and "Save Us From Extinction" would be reused on Best of CEC TV '93, and would be used as the skit comparison on the Diagnostics for CEC Stages, and since the diagnostic hasn't been updated in nearly 30 years, it is still used to test stages to this very day. The songs "One World" "Old MacDonald" and "Save Us From Extinction" would all go on to be used in the intermissions of future tapes. One major thing to note about this tape is the voice cast. Jasper's speaking voice here is provided by Robert Gotcher, which is odd as Bob West still voices him in the CEC TV Specials. This would be Rob's only show as the voice of Jasper for nearly two decades. This would change when he briefly took over for Jeremy Blaido for two shows released in 2011. In addition, starting with this tape, Charles Stewart, who had been the voice of Charlie Rockit since January 1992, would begin providing Jasper's singing voice, and would continue to voice him until the September 1993 show. Finally, beginning with this tape, Annagrey LaBasse would take over as the singing voice of Helen Henny. Annagrey and Karlisa would continue to voice Helen together until the January 1994 Show, as Disney would begin producing showtapes for CEC following it's release, and would hire a new cast to voice the characters. Annagrey and Karlisa would return as Helen in the August 1996 Show. They would go on to voice Helen together for four more years, and beginning with Summertime 2000, Annagrey would become the permeant voice of Helen Henny, a role she would continue with for another 15 years, with her last new spoken dialogue for the character coming in Show 6 2015, released in September of that year, although segments that she recorded between 2014 and 2015 would continue to be used until as late as 2019. Her entire career as the character spans 23 years, making her not only the person who has voiced Helen the longest, but one of the only CEC voice actors who's career lasted two decades, the others being Jeremy Blaido as Jasper and Earl Fisher as Pasqually, although Annagrey was the first to hit that milestone.
