Phoenix's Best Beginner MTB Trails: Papago Park

Hi,

This video highlights the mountain biking trails at Papago Park in Phoenix, Arizona. I rode the Double Butte Loop, connecting with the Big Butte, Vigilante and Little Butte Loops which was about 3.7 miles. You can ride the loops multiple times and break off onto a number of variations of the Double Butte Loop to add more distance.

The trails' straightaways are smooth and easy. They get a little more technical around the buttes, but not too difficult for beginners like me.

Location: 15 minutes or 8 miles east of Phoenix, Arizona.
Trails: Double Butte, Big Butte, Vigilante, Little Butte Loops
Distance: ~3.7 miles
Difficulty: Easy
Elevation Gain: ~273 ft
