Rains Batter Kerala, 3 Dead Due To Heavy Rainfall In State | India Today

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has sounded an orange alert in seven districts in Kerala as heavy rains continued to lash the southern state on Tuesday.
The weather agency has issued alerts in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam and Idukki districts. As a precautionary measure, water has been released from Aruvikkara, Neyyar and Peppara reservoirs in the Thiruvananthapuram district.
