Double Island Point can be dangerous for sailors, we watched a few boats who were unsure about the Lagoons position or entrance. These guys were unlucky enough to run aground. Thankfully Tin Can Bay Coast Guard was able to pull them off the constantly moving sandbar. Its nice anchorage behind it but be careful as the sandbar is huge and moves regularly.
