Orleans: Live in Japan 1991 - part 2

This is PART 2 of 2 ...
In April of 1991, Orleans did a 5-city tour of Japan. This is the 2nd half of the show from Mielparque Hall in Tokyo, recorded and produced for release on Laser Disc (remember those?), which has been converted for this format. (Sorry ... the synch is a little off)

Having emerged from a 3-year hiatus, the band convened to record a double-disc live album in 1990 for the Japanese market. With that under our belt, back up and running, firing on all cylinders, this 6-piece roster made its way overseas to play to sellout crowds. Our hosts were most gracious, the tech crews were impeccable, and the audiences were beyond enthusiastic ... and very well-versed in the music of Orleans! They loved us ... and we loved them back!

In addition to founders John Hall and Larry & Lance Hoppen, the band included alumnus Bob Leinbach on keys/vocals as well as relative newcomers Peter O'Brien on drums and Paul Branin on sax and guitar.
