The fourth release, disregarding the compilation, and the first album of this trio from Virginia.


This trio brings finally a full fledged record to the table, taking an halfway route into lo-fi blackness as well as atmospheric black metal. This approach is more in line with the output seen on the EP “Igne Natura Renovatur Integra” that brings a fiercer form of black metal than the last demo even if with some ambient flourishes.
While "Spear & Stone" does not break new ground in the genre, it excels in its execution. The band's commitment to their vision is undeniable, weaving a compelling atmosphere of misanthropic darkness, occasionally punctuated by subtle background synths. This is pure, unadulterated black metal, perfect for those seeking aural oblivion and a descent into the obscure.
