Don Diamant HST Z is a grey Zangersheide stallion born in 2017. He acquired a public breeding licence at the stallion test held by HSH (Hungarian Sport Horse Breeders) in 2020. The large stallion draws attention with its imposing appearance, extra gait and excellent jumping ability.
The stallion’s sire, Diamant de Semilly, guarantees extra jumping ability, who in 2015 and 2016 was the best stallion in the world according to the WBFSH ranking. Impressively, he often hands down his great stride, excellent balance, and a will to cooperate. Many of his progeny have emerged as high-performance jumpers, with nearly 150 horses competing at 160cm among his offspring. His outstanding achievements are many: in 2002 he was World Champion in team and ninth in individual competition, in 2002 claimed victory in the French championship, and in 2003 won team silver medal in the European Championship.
His maternal grandsire is Cassini I, who is one of the cornerstones of Holstein breeding. Already at the 1990 Stallion Test he showed brilliant jumping ability associated with unparalleled perfect style. He profited from his abilities in sports and breeding, and among his offspring we can find many successful jump horses.
