Chicago Style Eats - Episode 0132 - Sweet Steak Supreme

Chicago isn't a Philly Cheesesteak kinda town (hint: "Philly" is in the name), but some sandwich shop owners have brought the Philly Cheesesteak to town so they could IMPROVE it and, in so doing, have made it a Chicago Style Eat!

It seems most of these steak innovations occur on the south and west sides of the city, and the Sweet Steak Supreme is no exception, except that it is exceptional. What better way to make a foreign sandwich Chicago than to dump on it all the ingredients that make Chicago sandwiches hometown favorites? It sounds gross, but it works!
