Bachchon ke liye adhyatam || Parenting on Spiritual Path - [Hindi with English CC] - 1

The question is that why parents don’t want their son or daughter to walk on the spiritual path? They don’t want their children to be in the company of sadhu (saints). They want their children to work, get married and have children. Why do parents want that? Why don’t they give the freedom to a person who wants to go on a spiritual journey? If you think about it, in reality it is not the parent’s fault either because they have experienced life more than you. They think that how can they trust someone. The parents think that hopefully their children don’t spoil their life by walking the spiritual path.

If they don’t study at the time they should get educated and take up the spiritual path under any misconception. If, for example they spent ten years or so in an ashram when they are twenty to thirty year old and then they realize that it probably was a mistake and I should go back and work, get married and lead a household life. And, at that time, even if you want, you won’t be able to do it. Nobody will give you any job when you are thirty -five or so. And, this is what the parents fear that tomorrow if my son or daughter changes their mind then what will happen?
