Increase in TCS Threshold:

A significant change is the removal of TCS on remittances made for educational purposes, specifically when those remittances are funded by loans from specified financial institutions. This is intended to ease the financial burden on students pursuing education overseas.

In essence, the Budget 2025 aims to simplify and reduce the tax burden associated with foreign remittances, particularly for education-related expenses.
