Hi,
Here is the simple trick to activate the digital speedo in the instrument cluster for 1 series 118i M Shadow Editions late 17. It might work on other latest models. No coding is used.
Go to My Vehicle / iDrive Settings / Units / Distance / and changed Miles into Kilometres or back to miles if you prefer.
The settings goes back to normal if your fuel tank is in reserve. Hope it helps.
