Every dog needs to be able to be handled all over and not protest nail clipping, grooming and being examined or treated by a vet. We will show you step by step how to handle your puppy. This video also introduces "stand for exam" that is used in conformation showing. I demonstrate how to start this training with a litter of miniature australian shepherd puppies with tails. This type of training and desensitization can be started at a very early age, about three weeks and older.
