Since Dr. Reynolds first fell in love with music, he has struggled to understand its beauty and power. As a mathematician and musician, he believes there are important parallels in how we experience music and math.

Since Dr. Patrick Reynolds first fell in love with mathematics, he has struggled to understand its beauty and power. After completing his doctorate and postdoctoral work, he joined UNB's Department of Math and Stats in 2013. Gripped by a passion for teaching, and dedicated to improvement as an effective instructor, he is fascinated by the contentious relationship we have--societally and individually--with mathematics.
