Gamera Install Final Report Rocket Mass Heater Jamboree 2021 with Uncle Mud

The very last Uncle Mud project on the very last day of the 2021 Rocket Mass Heater Jamboree at Wheaton Labs in sunny Montana. We've been testing different setups for heating tinyhouses with Rocket Mass Heaters and this is one of my favorite combos--A Gamera Rocket Heater from Bulgaria and a "pebble bench" thermal mass battery. Wherever possible I like to use a cob bench because they store more heat per cubic foot than pebble benches BUT in small buildings with wood floors an improperly designed cob bench can overheat the wood around it and catch the underside of the floor on fire. I have a couple cob bench designs for tiny houses (including the one in my own house) and Ernie and Erica have more for larger houses, but the pebble bench allows air to circulate slowly through the mass, keeping the noticeably cooler.
