Kate had never raced a Tamiya before. We are still novices, so we don't know much. We just entered the event after purchasing a Tamiya kit. We have gotten up to the top three out of hundreds of entries. Unfortunately, we were disqualified from the final race because the battery we used was not alkaline. Once more, we had no prior experience and were total novices. They also checked our car with the battery before the race began, and we passed. But after everything, we still had fun and will definitely go back and win next time.
