This is a Motormouth couple car review of the 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid Hatchback, our Car of the Year! The Honda Civic Hatchback Hybrid shines in bright blue! This 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid is powered by a 2L 4-cylinder with a two-motor hybrid system, it’s matched to an e-CVT and has a combined 200 horsepower and 232 lb-ft of torque. FWD only.
2025 Honda Civic Hybrid fuel economy is fantastic, 4.8L/100 km, 49 MPG city and 5.4L/100 km, 44 MPG highway.
You do pay more for the 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid hatchback compared to the sedan. In Canada, Sport $37,462 CAD and Sport Touring $40,962 CAD (Includes, freight, PDI and Fees).
In the US, Sport $29,950 USD and Sport Touring $32,950 USD.
The 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid hatchback has a sporty look and it’s my favourite Civic for its versatility and good looks. This hybrid come standard with LED headlamps, LED taillamps, 18” black wheels and a tire repair kit.
The 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid cabin looks just like the sedan, Honda focused on designing an uncluttered and clean interior design. It comes standard with a cloth and leatherette combo, available leather trimmed. There are standard 7” dual screens with wired Apple Carplay and Android Auto, available 9” touchscreen with wireless and a 10.2” digital driver display. The larger screen has Google and Amazon Alexa built in. Other standard features include, an 8-speaker audio system, a moonroof, heated steering wheel and heated manual front seats.
A power driver’s seat is available on the top trim but the passenger seat does not have a height adjustment. The top trim adds a wireless charger, Bose sound system, heated rear seats and rear parking sensors.
