Accepting Help-Hiking to Landslide Lake

Please join me and my family as we hike the Elk River trail in Strathcona Park on Vancouver Island, Canada. We did this 3 day 2 night back pack trip during a heat wave with a total elevation gain of over 3000 ft. It was a really hard push for me but with the help of my family I made it. What a privilege to spend this special time with my son and his family. They made every effort to support me and I really enjoyed myself as did they. The scenery was most impressive with the final pay off being able to see this most beautiful and pristine lake once at the top.
