Ring floodlight cam start LED lights start flashing after about 1 year, due to water damage from rains.

After repairs, camera works, siren works, lights work and much brighter, but remote light on/off no longer works.

Reason why motion sensor was added to Ring camera, instead of using original, is because output voltage on original Ring motion sensor is only 50V, which is not enough to power up 110V LEDs.

After installing new motion sensor and replacing LED light, you will have 2 wires, black and red, coming out of Ring base that probably no longer needed. These wires can be just cut out, or pull apart so that not to short circuit.

Apply silicone after installation to prevent water from getting inside. Turn off circuit breaker before doing any repairs.
