2000 years ago, a princess of ayodhya was sent to South Korea to marry their King. And their descendents now form a large part of South Korea. All of them treat ayodhya as a holy place and relate to it in some form. That is why every year hundreds of South Koreans come to Ayodhya to pay tribute to Heo Hwang Ok at her monument.
