Reading My Lester B. Pearson Scholarship Essays | Detailed Analysis + Tips & Advice.

Hey Friends,
Today, I’ll be reading the essays I submitted for the Lester B. Pearson Scholarship application for the fall of 2021. I applied to University of Toronto and its full scholarship program for the fall of 2021, I was accepted to U of T but was waitlisted for the Pearson scholarship. Later, I found myself rejected for the scholarship. There were several things I regret doing wrong, one of which is the Essays.

Therefore, I’ll not just be reading out my essays, but will go into great detail by breaking them down and finding out what was right, what went wrong and what I could’ve done to improve on them. Each of my essay is packed with lessons and advice for students who are looking to apply for the scholarship and are about to start their writing process.

There are four section in the student scholarship application for the Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship: Academic Objectives, Self-Letter of Reference, Essay and Additional Questions. For 2021 scholarship application, each section consisted of one question except the last one. I go over each question in detail, share my response (answer) and analyze it in detail. Lastly, I share the new questions that were introduced in the 2022 scholarship application, which new scholarship aspirants will have to answer.
