Now that your vision has changed you may find it difficult to perform certain task like grooming. Here are a few tips.

One option is to simply squeeze tooth paste on to the tongue then proceed with brushing.

You may also want to hold your tooth brush head between your thumb and finger. This can act like a guide to squeeze the tooth paste onto the brush.

To prevent items from rolling and falling from your countertops, try using containers, Ziplock bags or drawers for toothpaste, dental floss, shaving implements, or other toiletries.

Have friends or family members help label products to keep you safe. Place rubber bands or tape on either the shampoo or conditioner to help you quickly tell them apart.

You can also use tactile stickers, or if you have some remaining vision, some brightly colored stickers on items like face wash, lotion, shaving cream, or makeup remover. Taking the guess work out of activities of daily living is key.
