[0:42] Presoaking the yarn
No acid in the presoak
[2:02] Dyes mixed with citric acid
Caribbean Blue, Deep Magenta, and a 1:1 mix of the two. all mixed with citric acid in Dyepot Weekly 475.
1 tsp citric acid + 1/32 acid dye (or 2/32 for the purple)
[3:35] Dissolving the dyes in hot water
Note - we have acid in the dye itself vs in the presoak
[4:56] Dividing the yarn for the stripes
[8:17] Dyeing the yarn
[16:28] Steam setting the yarn
put each color into another container and steam that way to keep the colors separate
[17:56] The yarn mop
[19:59] Washing the yarn
[21:26] The finished dry yarn
[24:01] A swatch!
