Описание к видео A-10C Warthog | CAS at the Kola Map | DCS in VR

The Goal of this Flight was to help with testing Traffic around Bodo on the Kola Map, our hopefuly soon to be Homebase. Confusion and screw ups on my Side, but good Learnings and an enjoyable Flight overall.

DEBRIEF
01. Enter all Visual Points and around the TMA into the CDU until they are known. Made a couple of mistakes. Mixing up 25 and 07, MARNES and KVALNES and was expecting to fly to a CAS Range south of Bodo, while we had to head North.
02. Get Taxi Traffic Rules for the new Map.
03 Get a feeling of the TMA in order to know where to stay when using the AG Range North of Bodo, which is very close by, but fantastic.
04. In the case of TIC one must speed up operations and, the first aircraft to gain contact with the enemy, must begin the attack run since, if a friendly unit is under weapons fire, we cannot afford to wait until everyone is TALLY but must give timely support in order to avoid friendly losses. 05. With winds from 266 I was expecting and planned for RWY25 in the submitted flight plan and my MDC.
06. I confused the A/G range South in the TMA with the Basic CAS Range North in the TMA and did not use the .miz to check CP coordinates to make sure I was planning for the correct range.
07. Not yet knowing the visual landmarks around the airfield and the TMA points I got confused about the directions as well. The domino of errors created confusion in my head during several stages in the Flight.
08. For the recovery I was still somehow having RWY25 in my head and plotted ENTRY/EXIT EAST in my CDU just before RTB, to be correctly rerouted by ATC to LANDEGO WEST.
09. Check FENCE checks. Forgot MAVs and probably also other items.
10. Forgot the Altitude Restrictions inside the TMA.
11. Use correct Brevity for switching Frequencies.
12. RAMROD was incorrect in the MDC. It only shows one RAMROD. Next time use the Comms Plate.
13. FENCE IN at CP.
14. Reduce the 'uhhs'
15. Figure out if talk on is better to do using the Eyeballs instead of a Sensor.
16. TECHNICAL: sometimes had issues with my numpad, could not finish entering grid. Had to switch to mouse to enter on the CDU.
17. Do not tip in when WM is already tipped in. Made this mistake two times.
