While the Porsche Boxster and Porsche Cayman are both known for being some of the best handling sports cars on the market (and according to some around Wolfpen, some of the best handling cars in the Porsche lineup), their mid-engined layout doesn't make them as easy to service as a front-engined car or even a rear-engined Porsche 911. In order to get to the engine, a LOT of the interior trim has to come off the top of the engine while the front of the engine has to be opened up at the firewall between the seats. This Porsche Cayman GT4 was having some cooling issues due to a fan not operating when it should, so we had to drive it in the Atlanta summer sun to ensure the new cooling fan was switching on and off at the proper times. While this was a very hot experience, it made for an interesting piece of content with the Porsche Cayman GT4 engine growling right behind the seats.
