20240103 Embarkation Day

It was a semi-local journey for us from the Boston area. It’s normally a 4-4.5 hour drive from Boston to NY hence semi-local drive. We rented a car from Manchester, NH (the trip turned into a 7 hour drive watch our video on EV Car Rental). We dropped it off in Brooklyn and caught an uber from the rental agency. The uber was a 15 minute drive to Brooklyn Cruise port pier 12. The drive into the port area is very industrial. As the uber pulled into the pier the porter was right there if you were checking bags. If you choose not to check your bags you can bring them with you through the check in process providing they fit in the x-ray machine through security. The check in process was extremely smooth with a short wait after check in to be boarded. You will be called to board by the number they gave you at check in. Moving forward fuhgeddaboudit!
