Weed Sampling Tutorial

Learn how to accurately sample weeds for effective weed control and maintaining healthy crops. Follow these steps for precise results:
1️. Mark a square of about 1x1 meters in each plot or use a hoop. Ensure the marker is placed in a representative part of the plot, centered on a pre-determined point.
2️. Carefully remove the weeds from the marked area, ensuring not to damage the roots.
3️. Weigh the freshly collected weeds, measuring the total fresh weight, and separately weigh monocot and dicot weeds.
4️. Measure the lengths of the aerial parts and roots for 5-10 representative samples of each prevalent weed species.
5️. Spread the collected weeds for drying, and once fully dry, measure the dry weight.
