This is not my own. I’m Tiaira, and in this lesson from I’m Saved What Now, we’re breaking down what faith actually is according to Scripture.

Faith is not about believing in things, systems, or outcomes. Faith requires a person. Biblically, faith involves three components: knowledge or experience with a person, a decision based on that knowledge, and action that follows. When faith does not produce action, Scripture tells us it is dead.

Using examples from both the Old and New Testament, this lesson looks at Abraham offering Isaac and David’s response after the death of his son. These accounts show that faith is not proven by getting the result we want, but by obedience, perseverance, and worship rooted in knowing who God is.

This video lays the foundation for understanding little faith and great faith, which are explored in the next lessons.
