Welcome to my channel. My name is Laigha and not only was I born with a variety of disabilities, but a number have also developed over the years that I want to shed more light on.

I find that certain diagnoses like Type 2 Diabetes and Gastritis are easily misunderstood by the general public. They are seen as common disorders, even if they aren't, and so they aren't taken as seriously. My main goal is to spread awareness and understanding of more common illnesses that are downplayed by the public.

I began creating fun TikTok videos in August of 2021 and is now a year later I found that I really enjoy posting YouTube videos where I talk about my crazy life and my multiple chronic illnesses.

For three and a half years I was a local government reporter at The Hawk Eye where I covered a number of topics including local government and crime. In April of 2022 I won third place in the best in crimes and courts category for the Iowa newspaper Association better newspaper contest. in September of 2022 I began working as a digital content producer for KCAU.

I use this channel to both showcase my hectic lifestyle of caring for my body full-time as well as working a full-time job and also to spread General awareness about topics that I find interesting related to disability
