Chanced upon a Terra friend with FR board, so gave it a try and quite liked it.

This is with 2 people that has FR board and I wasn't going for maximum dmg. If I really want to be extra toxic, I can bring out my own Terra with FR board or let Terra friend's turn run out after her FA contributions and let Garnet come back in to use her FA while Kain is somewhere poking the boss in the air.
Suffice to say Seymour has already sent the boss to 150% beyond the Farplane already, so all those preparations would have been way too OVERKILL. The Farplane is already too filled with all the dragon star crystals as is.

Generic FR for starting FT:
I spoke of generic FRs as backbone for FT is generally more convenient overall before. In this case Seymour's FR has really nothing to do with what kind of ability you are using. It only interacts with enemy HP and whether they have buffs on by the end of the turn. So you can slap whatever FR onto his FT and they will give the bonuses as long as the enemies are prepped accordingly.

As you can see with enough FA input, even Seymour's FR with relatively tamed max bonus can reach very close to 999% without even getting all the bonus at all times. So I would theorize that eventually with more FR ready characters in the field as they are released, the usually low FR% with extra HP dmg cap FRs would gain a lot of momentum due to the ease of getting to 999%. If every one can eventually get to max, then those with extra cap up would have an advantage.

When we look at other kinds of FRs, those that are more specific and restrictive, they may be less desirable for starting FT for other FAs to boost its bonus%. Right off of my head I can think of one that requires BRV/HP+ to activate a large portion of their bonuses. No FAs would be able to satisfy that. Not saying those cannot be used as their normal application still works, but if we are looking at maximizing FA uses within FR those would seem less desirable for the purpose.

Instant turn rate FAs:
Lunafreya is naturally one of the easiest way to set up a very neat queue for using FAs consecutively to boost bonuses. Her LDCA giving 1 extra turn would also facilitate this.

On the other hand, there are quite a few FAs that are inheritably instant turn rate. Terra/Machina/Minwu (although not an attack) etc FR has that and the sequence of using them would have to be adjusted accordingly to avoid underusing or occupying too many FTs.
In this case I am using LDCA, so Terra would in theory be able to attack 4 times with 2 FRs sandwiched in between generic attacks. I find that having a clear sequence is extra important when it comes to using friend's FA, as you may accidentally send them away with all the extra turns.

Just remember that operating with this type of FA is a bit different even outside of Lunafreya's interaction. They will always force you to have another turn, so when you are out of FAs or don't want to use them, you will always end up using 1 FT to pass on the turn (unless it is a friend and it is the last turn). They also have the advantage of flexibility when used in isolation, as you can have a sudden surge in dmg or FR bonus when you want to without external support. For example in this case, Terra's 4 turns pushed the enemy further into the 50% territory, so Seymour's BT can activate its auto dispel capabilities at 3 stacks.


Currently unknown:
There is at least one more type of FA that operates rather differently. Minwu/Aerith's FA starts at 150% and are not attacks. Maybe they will be super boosters or something else. It is currently very hard to predict how their echo and extension passive transform their moves.
