A WALK UP TO GRINDSLOW KNOLL PEAK DISTRICT.

I take a walk UP Grindslow Knoll to capture some Peak District views from the top. On arrival the Knoll was in complete cloud cover with an additional howling wind, I shelter in some rocks and wait patiently for the cloud to clear. I am eventually rewarded when the light breaks through and fans out across the landscape giving me my best light capture this year. I then move down off the Knoll and walk across to views down into Barber Booth and again wait for the light to break. Moving back up a little I put the 100-400mm lens to work and get some very nice dappled light falling on the landscape. I can honestly say this was my best ever morning of epic Peak District light.
