The forecast looked a bit light so I took the Malibu instead of the RX4. When I got to Flinders the wind was swaying trees but Paul had just launched and wasn't very high. Tom helped me to set up and launch and locked the gate for me. It was blowing at just under 20 knots on launch and it was gusty. I floated around with Paul for a while and watched his landing. A bit later I followed suit. I got on the beach OK but was blown sideways by wind coming the wrong way. My glider got a bit of wet sand on it and I was able to wash it off with water from a dog bowl where we packed up.
