MLB ballparks have always been apart of the whole love affair. From the early days of Crosley Field, Fenway Park, Wrigley Field, Polo Grounds, Ebbets Field, Yankee Stadium, and more. But after World War 2, baseball went away from these classic parks to what are described as multi-purpose, cookie cutter stadiums such as the Astrodome, Three Rivers Stadium, Riverfront Stadium, Oakland Coliseum, and more. While they had their benefits, especially costs, they didn't have the same appeal. That is until Camden Yards came along in 1992 and changed stadiums forever with a classic design that led to an era of single purpose stadiums.
