BLACKBERRY PIE FILLING
6 qt. Blackberries, stems & caps removed
7 C. Sugar
1 3/4 C. Clear-Jel
9 1/3 C. cold Water (you can substitute cold berry juice for some or all of the water for a richer fruit flavor)
1/2 C. bottled Lemon juice

Wash blackberries very gently rinsing & draining them. In lg. pot, combine sugar & Clear-Jel; stir to mix. Add water &/or juice; cook over med.-high heat, stir constantly, until mixture thickens & begins to bubble. Add lemon juice; boil 1 min., stir constantly. Take off; gently stir in blackberries. Fill hot jars, leave 1" headspace; seal. Hot water bath; pt. & qt. jars 30 min.
