Tool Declutter 🛠 Tool Bag Organization | Decluttering my Tool Box | Hardware Organization Ideas

Hey friends! I'm sharing a tool and hardware declutter and organization video to hopefully motivate and inspire you to do the same! It had been quite a few years since I spent any time organizing or decluttering my tools. I received this lovely and very useful large heavy duty bag from my sister for Christmas, and I knew I wanted to use it as a tool bag. So I start off my emptying out the two drawers in my kitchen island that had previously been housing my most used tools and hardware. I spread everything out on my island countertop so that I can easily see everything I own and assess all my tools. I then go into sorting my tools and hardware into different piles, based on where they need to be stored and things that can be trashed or donated. Small hardware items like screws, anchors, hooks, etc I pair down and sort into smaller organization containers.

After I finish sorting through all my tools and hardware, I start placing and organizing everything into my new tool bag, utilizing all the compartments and pockets. I then give you guys a little look at my brand new tool bag setup. Items that were no longer serving me any purpose were either trashed if they were in poor condition, or donated if still usable.
