Hello kids.
In this video kids will learn about water, different uses of water and their examples.
Water is life.It is the most precious and important resource that makes life possible. All living things like human beings, animals, birds and plants need water to stay alive. Water is useful for us in multiple ways in our daily life. Every year we celebrate world water day on 22nd March. All living things need water to survive.


Uses of water:
i) Household needs.
ii) Agricultural uses.
iii) Industrial and Commercial uses.
iv) Recreational uses.
v) Hydroelectricity.


*Household needs
Brushing teeth
Drinking
Cooking
Washing clothes
Cleaning dishes
Washing hands
Bathing
Washing vegetables and fruits
Cleaning
Watering plants
Washing car.
Just like human beings animals also need water for drinking and bathing. Beside household needs there are different uses of water in other fields like
*Agricultural uses
Farmer uses water in field
for irrigation
To spray pesticide and fertilizer.
*Industrial and commercial uses
Water is used for fabricating, processing, washing, cooling and transporting a product.
*Recreational uses
Some recreational activities take place in or on the water, such as Swimming, boating, fishing, rafting,surfing etc.
*Hydroelectricity
Water is use for generation of hydroelectricity.
