This is a boss fight video for V Rising, still early in the first zone. Video was recorded during patch 1.1 Hot Fix 8.

I've been doing some fishing, but it is time for the next boss fight, and I'm in the cemetery hunting Nicholaus.

On the way, I blasted a few skeletons and one more that was hiding behind a tree. Then I ascended to the top level where Nicholaus the Fallen was waiting. I have 97% creature blood... but only a couple of liters left... I have to finish this fast.

I tossed some bats at chaos at him and the fight began. I had forgot about the fear mechanic, and ended up getting caught in it a few times, but the skeletons did the most damage to me. That, and the massive a.o.e. on the big green blast from Nicky. I think I saw -74 damage a few times from the splash damage.

Thankfully, I was able to get off a lucky heal and dodge and get the bosses health down halfway.

Then so many skeletons showed up.

It was crazy, there were just so many health bars. My bats and chaos volleys were enough to slowly thin the herd, but my health was taking a beating. After the skeletons were gone, I was able to get a bit of distance from Nicholaus and decided I needed to eat a rat. My blood was nearly gone, and I just had to stabilize for a bit. I did have to drop my silver since I had no resistance anymore with my creature blood gone.

More skeletons arrived and I decided to focus fire my spells on the boss, and the final bits of health ticked away. I was able to extract the V Blood and now I can make paper! I also got an unholy ultimate, and chose the Army of the Dead. I like the big spider, I also don't like the big spider, because it is a big spider. So, skeleton army for now.

I gathered up all of the things, including the silver, and cleaned up the area. We had destroyed just about everything on top of the cemetery, so that took a bit. Then I ran home as a wolf, only getting blasted once along the way.

There was one last encounter with a small mob just outside my castle. I probably could have jumped by them, but blasting them with magic seemed faster. I also was able to get some new blood... 2%... yay...

Once back at base, all of the things need to go away, but first the money. That silver buzz was getting to me. I need to fight more bosses and keep growing the castle...
