“Yellowstone,” Paramount’s drama series centered on the fictional Dutton cattle ranch in Montana, has been such a hit with audiences that the network announced plans to produce three separate spinoff series. The first of those, “1883,” premiered in December 2021 and has already proven to be a success with both western fans and critics.
“1883” follows the generation of the Dutton family that will go on to establish “Yellowstone’s” ranch. The cast of the series, led by Sam Elliott, Tim McGraw, and Faith Hill, is a large one, and while you may not know each actor by name, you’re probably familiar with a lot of their prior work.
