One cold winter evening, I was sitting alone in my car. I was at a very low point mentally. Something inside me was screaming for help, but I didn't know what to do.
I sent a text to a friend of mine. She responded with a gentle empathy and kindness. To my surprise, it helped a great deal.
I found myself thinking about faith, and the role that it plays in our relationships. The friend in question held beliefs quite different to my own, and yet we could lean on each other in times of despair.

Those feelings formed the roots of this song.
