After the huge conflict between Rana Bahadur Shah and Damodar Pande, Rana Bahadur Shah went to Kashi on 27th May 1800, Raj Rajeswori and Bhimsen Thapa also followed him. Girvana Bikram Shah was declared king of Nepal and Subarna Prabha acted as his regent. Subarna Prabha nominated Kirtiman Singh Basnet as Mulkaji.
